Position Summary:

On a daily basis the Lead, Global Web Producer's main responsibility is to partner with local markets to gather regional requirements, socialize, and measure the in-country performance of product features and campaigns to continually optimize new and existing products and services across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. You will be the primary liaison between in-country marketing departments and the global digital marketing team to solve complex user problems by collaborating with mutli-disciplinary teams to conceive and craft useful digital products and services. You will ensure our digital products deliver on the global strategic vision while exceeding the needs of our regional teams around the globe.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience understanding consumer behavior within European, Asian, and Latin American markets, and be mindful of the latest eCommerce, web, and mobile best practices knowing when to adopt local conventions and when to use global concepts. You must have proven experience employing a combination of qualitative methods to understand country-level consumer behavior and know how to leverage analytics to inform solutions. Exceptional communication skills are needed to manage expectations, earn the trust, negotiate, and find mutually beneficial results with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Career Snapshot:

  • Create a strategic program to develop globalization as a core component of our owned media annual operating plan with clear objectives, desired outcomes, and projects to increase the global footprint of Royal Caribbean International
  • Organize and execute regular global digital marketing summits and monthly global digital steering committees to socialize global programs, inspire best practice sharing, and foster regional participation in global programs
  • Coordinate global digital efforts, monitoring and communication of digital initiatives and strategies throughout our global offices
  • Act as the global representative of our regional teams in the development of new digital products, coordinating regional team participation in requirements gathering, design reviews, integration of regional tools, content development & translation, user acceptance testing, product launch, and support
  • Collect local market needs and translation of those needs into requirements of feature releases of our digital product roadmaps for royalcaribbean.com, cruise vacation planning portals, mobile sites and apps
  • Act as Royal Caribbean's subject matter expert in content translation and transcreation by implementing translation systems and processes within our content management systems
  • Report metrics and analytics via a performance scorecard and implementation of Omniture and media tagging solutions to ensure reporting consistency across all markets to measure the effectiveness of digital product features and media campaigns

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Management Information Systems, HCI or equivalent professional experience
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience in consulting and developing web applications/sites
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience implementing translation tools and services from translations vendors such as Lionbridge into enterprise eCommerce platforms
  • 5 years of mastery of analytics (Site Catalyst, Core Metrics, Web Trends) and online survey tools with demonstrated use of analytics
  • 3 years experience leading international teams in the daily management, development, and reporting of a global web platform
  • Experience working with International Markets
  • Ability to travel 20-25%
