Job Purpose
Provides professional, efficient and courteous information and/or service to the Guests. Performs front and back office duties in line with Company standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Familiarizing with the ship and its services, Company Policies, Product Plan, procedures and manuals, using all available resources in a fast and efficient way.
- Handling all requests and complaints in a professional and diplomatic way, focusing in Guests’ needs and problem solving.
- Assisting with embarkation and disembarkation formalities (collection, photocopying, distribution of personal ID –Passports- and Landing Cards, Boarding Forms, Overbooking, Luggage tags, BOV, transfers, CF, Port Agents).
- Assisting in cabin change control and registration, booking procedures, downgrading/upgrading procedures, extra cabins, printing of Costa Cards and Cabin cards.
Job Requirements
- Secondary School in Hotel Management, Tourism degree or University degree in modern languages tourism or communication is highly appreciated
- Good knowledge of the most common software. Cash handling is appreciated.
- Apprenticeship or work experience in Hotels or in tourism industry in positions related to customer service is requested
- Excellent English and beyond the native language the candidate need to be above intermediate in two additional languages (i.e. Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin).
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
