Project Engineer

Our client, a ship management company based in Monaco, are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team. The position is Monaco based, but will involve travel.

As Project Engineer you will report to the Project Manager, and assist with coordinating the activities of assigned projects. This will include preparing proposals, project schedules and coordinating the agreed engineering work.
You will work as part of a team, and will be involved with projects of various natures.

Key responsibilities for this role will include technical planning and preparation, document control, and quality and design control.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Knowledge and experience in multiple aspects of the shipping industry
• Good language skills, written and spoken, in English, Italian and French
• IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
