Destination Concierge

As Destination Concierge, you will be working alongside a multicultural, world-class team.   You will be responsible for promoting, marketing and selling high end premium tours to high valued guests onboard the vessel.  This is a part of the Shore Excursion Operations, One of the top three revenue centers onboard.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel the world while working for a top global employer of choice.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Manages the Destination Concierge desk operation, creating a seamless premium tour experience for high valued guests Managing guest inquiries which require attention, interacting with guests regularly and visiting staterooms
• Works with Tour Operators to create high end ad hoc tours for premium guests
• Escorts Premium guests on tours and ensures seamless delivery
• Promotes and sells premium tours onboard to optimize revenue
• Ensures the effective planning, marketing, and selling of all revenue opportunities
• Demonstrates the ability to manage the quality control of the tour program
• Demonstrates the ability to maintain an inventory of available tours on a cruise-by-cruise basis.

Qualifications

Hiring Requirements:

• Minimum of five to eight years’ experience as a guide, in the service industry or onboard a cruise line
• Previous experience as a concierge in a 4 star resort or in a tour operation servicing premium guests is preferred
• Strong knowledge of ports, tours, and itineraries (Caribbean, Europe, Baltic, South America, Australia, Asia, Mediterranean, and Alaska) is required
• Excellent public speaking skills and confidant speaking in front of large audiences
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly
• All international applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1/D visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable
