Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced General Manager for an 'Ultra-deluxe' Executive Lounge opening in Beijing in August 2014.

Offering exclusive facilities for private and corporate events as well as a base for high-level diplomats, this venue is located in one of Beijing's most prime locations.

Profile requirements:

• Ability to attract and engage prospective customers, and generate event sales.
• An in-depth industry knowledge including speakers, performance artists, environmental & sustainability who's who, enabling to organise interesting and informative events to the General Public.
• Extensive proven experience and ability to develop, initiate, and manage outstanding forums, meetings and events whilst cultivating long term relationships at all levels.
• Ability to generate media coverage
• Informed about the art world and passionate about the environment and conservation
• Experience and understanding of the luxury sector
• Previous experience in China an absolute must
• Language requirements: English, Chinese & French
