The reward for the Ship Manager (AKA Cruise Ship Technical Superintendent):

• $105,000-$125,000pa +0-10% discretionary annual performance related bonus.

The job responsibilities for the Ship Manager (AKA Cruise Ship Technical Superintendent):

• Technically managing a handful of vessels from shore in South Eastern, USA.
• Managing financial budgets, maintenance, repairs, modifications, dry dockings, planning, preparing, coordinating, new deliveries, shipyards, inspections and surveys of vessels within the fleet.
• Significant responsibility reporting directly to the Fleet Manager.
• The role requires from 10% to 40% annual travel.

The client seeking an Ship Manager (AKA Cruise Ship Technical Superintendent):

• Operate a fleet of Cruise Ships.
• Is a major Ship Owner/Ship Manager.
• Is expanding and need additional shore side Technical professionals.
• Is a well-established, prestigious and reputable ship management organization.

The person requirements for the Ship Manager (AKA Cruise Ship Technical Superintendent):

• Must have the immediate legal right to work shore-side in this country (not a temporary seafarer's visa).
• Must have sailed to the rank of Chief Engineer on similar vessels.
• Must have recently sailed as a Class 1 Chief Engineer Unlimited or have shore based experience as a Port Engineer or Assistant Technical Superintendent.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and have the ability to build relationships.
