Position Summary:

Subject matter expert for Marketing Media, particularly television, internet and outdoor media.  Researches suppliers from a variety of usual and unusual sources.  Confers with suppliers to obtain services in the most cost effective, quality, and satisfactory ways possible.  Responsible for short and long term contractual strategy to support the Marketing group with maximum media results and minimal expense.

• Performs complex analysis of multiple variables.
• Expert use of analysis forecasting problem solving and quality improvement to develop contract strategy for dynamic market conditions
• Particular experise in marketing media, including television, internet, and outdoor media
• Develop a procurement and negotiation strategy based on multiple and often complex variables
• Negotiate milestones, SLAs, price, availability, and delivery schedules
• Analyzes and incorporates specific business data to negotiations, strategies and plans that correlate to the goods and/or services procured
• Consolidate requirements acrosss the organization and brands to leverage opportunity
• Communicates and presents clear stategies, plans, and cost impacts to opper management
• Drive cost reduction in marketing throught improvement marketing relationships and processes
• Attend applicable trade shows, conferences, and maketing events
• Responsible to implement and drive change, particularly in an enviroment unaccustomed to Supply Chain Discipline
• Manage, coach and develop direct reports to build capability and expertise

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree of Professional Certificate in the Supply Chain
• Eight (8) plus years of specialized technical experience in marketing media
• Contract experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and priorites
• Negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office producrts, specifically Excel
• Ability to to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
• Ability to write reports business correspondance and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers and all levels of staff and management, both shipboard and shoreside
