Position Summary:

As Digital Marketing Analyst, you will analyze performance for the Royal Caribbean International brand across all digital channels including Website, Social and Mobile platforms and identify e-commerce opportunities, enhancements & requirements.  In addition you will work with the e-commerce manager in all promotions, digital advertising operations, site optimization and product merchandising.

You will be responsible for increasing the efficiency of the digital sales process by documenting & tracking business needs throughout the project life cycle and by performing operational and competitive analysis for eCommerce projects and strategy evolution.  In addition, you will have a strong grasp of web development lifecycle, collaborate with global stakeholders and foster communication between technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring technology solutions fulfill business needs.  You should also be resourceful and results oriented with a focus on improving marketing effectiveness and customer experience, thereby driving revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance eCommerce processes and experience based on market, competitive and functional insights.
  • Understand the eCommerce landscape to define future state processes & desired functionality and provide the needed context to build technical solutions.
  • Assist in the transactional and promotional strategy of our digital platforms, including traffic growth, merchandising, cruise planning, booking funnel, and promotions.
  • Assist in the development of a data-driven, segmentation roadmap to target our most valuable users and drive the highest-revenue product sales in cruise and pre-cruise products.
  • Assist in all initiatives to ensure a consistent and optimized customer experience across online advertising, web site landing pages, traffic workbooks and the transactional funnels that is also well coordinated with the email marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the operation of third-party, ecommerce tools to optimize conversion, drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and make product development recommendations to the operations team.
  • Evaluate program performance and optimize revenue by conducting holistic analysis of factors including trends, pricing, and volume and segmentation strategies to optimize digital content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required preferable in marketing or in a relevant field such as e-Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years experience with consumer-facing websites and strong familiarity with e-commerce best practices.
  • Preferred background in luxury, fashion, retail, or hotel merchandising.
  • In-depth knowledge of  digital and e-commerce  best practices
  • Understanding of online demand generation, online merchandising, online selling, and creative copy.
  • Understanding of  website design, development, and deployment, online marketing strategy, and search engine optimization.
  • Customer oriented skills (within business to business (B2B) & business to customer (B2C) segments).
  • Proven track record in all aspects of program and project management, metrics development, website analytics and search experience.
  • Project management skills preferable
  • Solid MS Office skills.
