We are looking for a well-experienced Office / Operation Manager for an Asian River Cruise Line with international passengers on wonderful itineraries. Candidate must have several years of experience – Ideally in tourist industry (as office or hotel manager).

You should have good proven management skills and be stress-resistant. An exceptional written and oral communication skill is a must with a demonstrable ability to present information in an accessible way. Candidate should be a positive, open minded person. You should be computer literate, well organized and must be a team player. The position requires the ability to motivate, lead and support an international team.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Controlling the issuance of police-papers, vouchers and cruise information • Organization and purchasing of tourist services such as hotels rooms, day tours, restaurant services, etc. • Quality management in close cooperation with the company’s general management, operation manager, cruise directors and boat manager as well as business partners and customers • Maintenance and updating of the company’s webpage • Common office organisation for the Employer. • Answering direct customer’s and business partner’s requests for the cruises as well as for regular tours in and around Laos, calculating quotations and tour offers • Communicate and report deliverables to the headquarter in Berlin and referee between the two countries (Germany and Laos) • Invoicing tours and cruises, controlling cash flow and payments You should be adaptable and flexible, the ability to work within a team as well as work independently. Fluent English is required – German or French would be a plus.
