Cruise Host/Hostess

A very challenging and demanding position for sea enthousiasts and highly guest oriented persons to work onboard yachtlike small ships.

The cruise host is responsible for the well being of our guests and the success of the cruise experience.

Preparing cruise material,welcoming guests and assigning of cabins,presenting Captain and crew,organizing participating in evening events,coordinating of daily program, presenting ports of call(soft lectures,power point etc) onboard ashore activity program, problem solving,handling of complaints, promoting company's products and other cruises,   conducting daily detailed report to head office, assisting in product quality and operation

Fluency in English(no accent,read,write) good German French or Spanish is a plus. Mulilingual candidates and especially of Greek Nationality will be preferred. Studies in Tourism or tourism related (hospitality manager, historians) , good knowledge of computers and other skills(photography-dance-diving etc) or hobbies are a plus. Min.2 full years experience in similar guest oriented tourism positions preferrably on small ships at sea or experience as tour leaders on escorted multi day group land tours on US standards.

Hands on, able to work under pressure in an international team, outgoing and calm personality with very good organizational skills,ability to attract a good number of persons when speaking in public with a microphone, good physical condition, willing to learn and develop.

Back to back cruises in a 3 month period Dec-Apr as a general rule with an option to renew in summer seasons.
