Assistant Manager, Merchandise

We are currently accepting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Merchandise on behalf of family orientated cruise line.
Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you will assume responsibility for the shop?s smooth and effective operation. You duties will include (but not limited to) being responsible for training, coaching & developing teams, inspections, up-selling in fixed and mobile locations.

Minimum requirements:

• 3 years + retail management experience
• Previous ship / duty free experience
• Ability to lead a team of up to 25 staff
• Sound knowledge & experience in fine jewelry, watches, perfumery, cosmetics or liquors
• Demonstrate a passion and continuous focus on exceeding guest satisfaction & sales goals
• Computer literacy
• Visual display skills

Salary and benefits to be discussed upon interview. Rotation 4 months on / 2 months off approx.
