Position Summary:
This position provides the guidance, leadership and direction to teams to ensure that revenue targets are met or exceed within the Designated City. This position has leadership responsibility of the Field Marketing Manager who owns the marketing strategy, media plan, event plan, PR, partnership marketing and be the voice within marketing for a region as well as a team of District Sales Managers assigned to the Designated Marketing Area (DMA). The Field DMA Team Manager role requires an individual with proven team collaboration skills and the ability to work independently within company and department guidelines and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the team with ALL DMA initiatives
- Owns the KPI for the DMA
- Identifies sales and marketing opportunities while aligning the resources and executing the game plan.
- Owns the designated city Critical path and annual calendar
- Communicates and reports on a weekly basis to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Market Teams and to Celebrity Cruises' Executive Team
- Key decision maker on the team
- Influence collaboration on all strategies within DMA from Marketing to events targeted around the affluent zips within the DMA
Financial Responsibilities:
- Manages local budget
- Responsible for managing assigned budget efficiently to effectively deliver on all Key Performance indicators including APD, total bookings (trade and direct), brand awareness, calls generated, web visit, etc.
Qualifications:
- List the minimum level of education and experience required to perform the work at the entry level of the job.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of previous marketing experience preferred especially digital.
- Demonstrated advanced ability to implement and execute off of strategic direction.
- Previous experience working in travel or hospitality industry a plus
- To successfully adhere to the responsibilities stated, this individual must be prepared to travel ---50 % of the time.
- The ability to establish and develop long term relationships with both internal and external customers will be a key to the success of the role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Superior leadership and collaboration skills
- Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
- Sound financial management skills.
- Ability to achieve results within budget and target deadlines.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills including the ability to anticipate trends, situations or changing market conditions and take appropriate action on a timely basis.
This role is hands on with limited resources. The successful candidate must be solution-focused and prepared to work a variety of shifts as needed.
