First Engineer

FleetPro Ocean (formerly International Shipping Partners) is currently seeking First Engineers with cruise ship experience to join our expanding team. The First Engineer is second in rank in the Engine Department. The First Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day technical work performed on the ship and will also be assigned watches and other duties in accordance with instructions from the Chief Engineer. While on watch, the First Engineer will have full responsibility for the safe operation of all engine room equipment and must report any unusual or abnormal situations directly to the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications for this position will follow all international and national conventions and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates in possession of a Chief Engineer's (unlimited horsepower) license; however, Second Engineer (unlimited horsepower) license may be accepted. Fluent English is a must. Previous experience on board expedition cruise vessels preferred; other experience will be considered.
