Position Summary:

This position will serve as Lead, Marketing of TourTrek which is a technology startup company focused on selling global destination experiences on the internet. Reporting directly to the firm's Director of Marketing & eCommerce the Lead is responsible for developing and executing the branding and marketing strategy for TourTrek, the primary responsibility is to develop, execute and monitor the B2B and B2C marketing / advertising plans for TourTrek in the digital and print space. Specific responsibilities include the development of the omnichannel marketing roadmap that includes mostly digital advertising through paid search, SEO, display ads, affiliate programs, email and remarketing. A heavy emphasis will be on lead generation while tracking analytics and overall ROI. This position will assist in the development of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) plan that tracks lead generation, conversion and retention. Additionally, this role will provide guidance on website UX (User Experience), design and brand strategy. This position will be responsible for creating and executing effective digital marketing campaigns and optimizing the website to increase brand awareness, increase online traffic, drive lead acquisition and grow sales and profitability of the ecommerce site. Position has P&L accountability for the marketing business unit including responsibility to attain targeted revenue, ROI and margin objectives. The position will be based in the Cayman Islands. Qualifying for a work permit and establishing residency and/or extended stays are essential requirements of the position.

Career Snapshot:

  • Works cross functionally with leadership team to develop companyu00bfs business plan, goals and direction. This includes defining/refining the company vision, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and instilling the highest ethical standards
  • Provides leadership and guidance in the development of all B2C and B2B marketing strategies including digital and print formats in line with marketing plans
  • Supervises and leads all digital marketing activities, including but not limited to SEO/SEM, affiliate, display ads, email marketing, social, mobile and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develops the marketing roadmap and measurements for the collection and analysis of actionable analytics (Omniture Analytics, SiteSpect A/B Testing, Rich Relevance for Recommendations, ad hoc metrics, etc. on web and mobile platforms) that will guide continuous improvements in customer acquisition, retention and conversion
  • Creates and monitor all Customer Relationship Management (CRM) plans that include the development of dynamic lead generation campaigns for B2B and B2C markets. Convert customer insights into actions to optimize campaign performance. Create customer segment level plans and customer experience maps
  • Develops specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Analyze campaigns and programs for effectiveness while providing regular reporting on the performance of B2B and B2C marketing efforts (both digital and print) and overall customer acquisition goals
  • Manages and develops unique content focused on destination delivery throughout print and digital collateral. Develop materials for the B2B marketing including webinars, whitepapers and videos. Work with direct reports to create search engine optimized content (text, imagery and video) that engages end consumer and encourages transactions
  • Leads the business approach to online engagement, mobile strategy and social media and stays current in social media platforms, market trends, best practices and other web/mobile technology
  • Works cross functionally with leadership team to ensure shareholder value by maximizing profits and developing strategies that achieve the highest ROIC.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other related discipline
  • Minimum of five years progressive experience in the design, development and implementation of both strategic programs and supporting tactics
  • Minimum of five years of hands on experience and demonstrated success in leading digital marketing programs such as SEM/SEO, Affiliate programs, Digital Advertising, ReMarketing and eMail
  • Minimum five years management experience in a multidimensional organization.
  • Minimum five years of experience in the travel industry with a focus on destination delivery
  • Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including digital and print formats
  • In depth knowledge of online analytics (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics), advanced CRM analytics and other Loyalty, eMail, Mobile and Social Programs
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to recognize trends/opportunities and formulate recommendations relevant to the business
  • Strong knowledge of digital space including, but not limited to social media (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), travel blogs and websites, PR, affiliate programs and SEO/SEM
  • Strong planning, analytical, project management and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to flourish in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with guests, international vendors and all levels of employees and management, both shipboard and shoreside
  • Strong negotiating skills and understanding of legal contracts
  • Strong understanding of systems, internal controls and the ability to develop processes and procedures to support the company's operation
  • Working knowledge of personal computers with associated financial software and communication packages

Preferences:

  • MBA and/or other professional certification
  • International business experience
