Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Job Description

The purpose of the role is to contribute to the development of the annual marketing plans, manage individual marketing campaigns and project requirements on a day to day basis and manage the creative production of marketing.

The role will identify and test the implementation of new marketing channels such as video advertising and digital sponsorship.

In addition, you will continuously drive to improve acquisition across all channels and member communications in terms of brand, message, process, communication effectiveness and cost. You will also manage multiple product campaigns and project budgets in line with overall annual budgets.

Key Tasks:

  • Management of digital marketing projects
  • Contributing to the integrated marketing planning activities
  • Use analytics to evaluate success, reporting on campaign effectiveness and ROI and produce analytical reports
  • Responsible for developing and managing all prospect campaigns to grow web traffic and online sales
  • Responsible for digital Trade marketing including the website, emails and contribution to events
  • Working with the sales teams to improve and enhance marketing communications to drive sales and hit targets
  • Maintaining a clear understanding of customer needs and analyse the competitive environment to devise appropriate propositions
  • Staying on top of all digital marketing trends and using innovation to constantly improve and grow the business

Profile

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience for e-commerce brand (in travel or retail is desirable)
  • Degree educated in marketing/web management/design/multimedia related discipline
  • Experience of html, Content Management Systems (CMS’s), CRM’s and Analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture)
  • Knowledge of successful multimedia and digital interactive content
  • Experience of current social media platforms and integration with web content
  • Experience in managing results-driven digital marketing campaigns, from planning to implementation
  • Previous experience of working closely with department on monthly and seasonal promotional activity such as website updates, email marketing and social media promotions
  • Knowledge of taking clear briefs for online projects, working with internal or external project teams and managing them though to execution and launch in a timely fashion
  • Understanding of acquisition and retention of customers via online media channels
  • Providing reporting analysis for accounts to identify trends that can inform business decisions
  • Experience of copywriting and creative skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience and knowledge of using InDesign, Photoshop, Twitter, Google+

  • Proficient in understanding and analysing relevant response data, and reporting back information.
  • Good creative skills with a keen eye for design.
  • Good communicator, negotiator and influencer at all levels.
