At Costa Cruises, we believe that motivation and challenges create passionate people, and passion makes the difference. We are currently looking for a Fire safety and redundancy enhancement manager to join our Technical Operations Department at the Company’s Headquarter in Genoa – Italy.
The main tasks will be to supervise and execute in close liaison and coordination with the Fleet Managers, all and specific activities pertaining Fire safety and redundancy enhancement program, and Corporate standards initiatives fleet wise in accordance with Company policies and strategies guaranteeing the correct planning and execution of given activities concerning the activities assignments in charge of.
Job Requirements
To apply for this job you should have at least 4/5 years experience in Technical Operation:
- a degree in marine engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or a diploma from a technical institute;
- excellent knowledge of English;
- experience in shipyards or in the technical management of ships – familiarity with classification societies;
- technical skills and competency concerning the hull, machinery and electrical equipment of ships;
- ready availability and flexibility;
- good interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently;
- good working knowledge of Office Automation applications.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
