Position Summary:

The Lead, Retention & Loyalty marketing manages the budget for marketing investment allocated to direct mail and email marketing both to drive higher retention & to manage the Loyalty program communications.  The person in this position is responsible for influencing the strategy, as well as for the tactical implementation and execution of all of the direct mail and email programs for retention and loyalty marketing.  These programs drive customer repeat, frequency and referrals

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and managing Royal Caribbeanu00bfs retention marketing strategy and initiatives geared towards driving higher conversion, and shortening the cruise cycle.
  • Develop a lifecycle communications approach in order to drive higher engagement, create dynamic dialog with our most valuable guests, and drive the right kind of behaviors for the right segments, at the right time.
  • Manage and continuously optimize all of the lifecycle, event triggered and tactical communications
  • Manage the Crown & Anchoru00ae Society member communications throughout their lifecycle with Royal Caribbean with the goal of retaining High Value members.
  • Manage and implement key initiatives of the referral strategy by working closely with social and digital teams to drive advocacy and lead generation from high value past guests
  • Manage the execution of our integrated tactical DM & EM programs based on revenue management's promotional calendar including WAVE. Works closely with all channels to ensure cohesiveness across consumer messaging
  • Continue to work closely with the marketing analytics team and loyalty program managers, to ensure programs are yielding incremental ROI and assigned KPI goals
  • Develop ongoing test and learn mechanisms in order to optimize budgets, and drive higher returns
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • College degree required. 4 to 6 years of experience in CRM, or One to One marketing.
  • Experience executing direct mail and email marketing campaigns as well as customer-focused, multi-channel direct marketing programs, including integrated direct mail and email campaigns.
  • Experience and ability to evaluate creative
  • Ability to work well with external partners and agencies and provide appropriate marketing briefs and work feedback
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with internal peers, agency partners and management and able to influence without authority
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Understanding of marketing measurement.
  • A true customer advocate, with passionate for customer experience overall
