Position Summary:

The primary function of the Sr. Email Marketing Account Executive will be to facilitate and coordinate email marketing campaigns, at the direction of the Email Marketing Manager, aimed at driving revenue and increasing customer reactivation and retention by working collaboratively across teams and with in-house creative team.

Career Snapshot:

• Develops and leads day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns, including developing the creative brief and work with the creative team to develop assets
• Builds email segmentation criteria and target lists
• Manages EM agency process for EM production, asset delivery, QA and deployment
• Collaborates with key stakeholders from marketing, retail, product, and operations teams to ensure coordinated execution and drive email performance
• Partners with vendors to ensure timely and accurate campaign deployment
• Manages transactional and triggered emails updates
• Monitors email campaigns, report results and provides recommendations on how to improve EM performance through optimizations
• Modifies and shares go-forward strategies based on learning and email best practices
• Proposes and executes email test plans
• Manages the Retail/Brand campaign calendar
• Assists in managing email budget and closing the budget by end of month
• Assists in improving email operations, campaign and database processes, and overall deliverability across domains

Requirements:

• College degree required
• Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in CRM, Direct Mail or One to One marketing.
• Education: BS/BA in Marketing or related field
• Experience: 1- 3 years experience in email marketing
• Execution: excellent attention to detail and follow through
• Project management: ability to manage multiple campaigns and cross-functional team members
• High comfort level with technology: solid HTML & SQL skills
• Experience building and coding campaigns in email service provider tools
• Familiarity with metrics-based marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write marketing copy, including strong calls-to-action for targeted audiences
• Approach: energy and enthusiasm to drive results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised and flexible
• Industry knowledge: passionate about cruise/travel industry, eCommerce and CRM
