As Beverage Operations  Manager, you will be responsible for our exciting, multi units, high-volume shipboard Beverage Operation and oversee its multicultural world-class team. You will be responsible for managing the entire Beverage Operation onboard our state of the art ship’s (all bars/lounges, restaurants, venues and crew dining areas).  In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel the world while working for a top global employer of choice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Effectively plans departmental activities, including schedules, side jobs and events
• Ensures all bars and storage areas are kept clean and operate in compliance with USPH standards at all times
• Ensures that all equipment in Bars, Bar Pantries, and Bar Areas is properly repaired and maintained
• Responsible for having adequate stock of product and supplies on hand, in accordance with par levels set by Inventory Management
• Oversees and is responsible for all bar requisitions, inventories, bar par levels and transfers
• Responsible for all work schedules and opening and closing hours for each venue (in conjunction with the    F&B Manager)
• Consistently evaluates the team against the brand’s Modern Luxury concept and Company’s standards

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Food and Beverage Management capacity with an upscale or upscale/casual restaurant, lounge, hotel, resort or cruise ship.(shipboard experience preferred)
• Must have high volume Cruise Line experience
• Superior Knowledge of Wine, Spirits, Beer and Cocktails
• Knowledge of beverage promotions and other revenue generating practices
• Ability to multi-task and remain organized and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function
• Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs
