Human Recourses Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a well experienced Human Recourses Manager (m/f) for a great 5* European Cruise Line with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to:

• responsible for providing leadership in the area of employee relations; internal guidance and assistance to dept. heads and shipboard managers on HR issues
• Develop, evaluate and modify HR processes, policies and procedures to ensure onboard departments can comply with requirements, as well as ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met
• Participate in all investigations related to employee performance or policy violations
• Facilitates employee resignation process including Exit interviews andcommunication with management where necessary
• Take a leadership role with Senior Officers and shipboard management in the “Quality of Life” of all employees onboard
• Proactively visits and monitors employee work areas to ensure there is a positive work environment and interacts fully with all employees
• Responsible for leadership development onboard including feedback, assessments and training
• Responsible for facilitating all change of department requests as per company procedure
• In partnership with department heads, play a vital role in positively communicating organizational change initiatives, new company policies and procedures that effect shipboard employees

YOUR PROFILE

• 3 years professional experience in a HR management position
• Ideally a formal qualification in Human Resources (CIPD, GPHR etc.)
• Shipboard experience (3 contract or 12 months onboard time)
• Experience of managing/leading audits.
• Varied Employee Relations case management experience
• Ability to deliver/construct induction training for new joiners
• Excellent management, organizational and communication skills
• Positive personality, friendly and neat appearance, Stress resistance, flexibility, team player but also must work independently

Fluent English is required, any additional European language would be a big plus. Also required are outstanding computer skills with MS Office Suite.
