We are looking for CRUISE DIRECTOR to work on cruises vessel 

TITLE: Cruise Director
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Hotel Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Cruise Director is responsible for overseeing the operation of all onboard activities and performances.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain smooth operation of all onboard activities and performances.
2. Emcee Welcome Aboard talk and invite guests to participate in Shore Excursions
3. Promote, monitor and support Shore Excursion Desk and excursion dispatches.
4. Make onboard promotional announcements over the ships PA system whenever necessary to ensure maximum participation to the ships revenue streams.
5. Responsible for announcing the Passenger Boat Drill each cruise.
6. Mingle with guests during operational hours and maintain a professional image at all times.
7. Emcee shows and events nightly.
8. Responsible for the scheduling of cruise staff and performers.
9. Handle all administrative requirements, i.e. Cruise Report.
10. Report all problems to Hotel Manager.
11. Attend all Department Meetings.
12. Conduct a department meeting every month.
13. Responsible for the safety and morale their staff.
14. Responsible for their area’s safety, cleanliness and operation.
15. Mandatory attendance to all assigned shipboard drills and emergency activities
16. Create and implement ideas that will generate/increase revenue and/or reduce costs to the company.
17. Performs related duties as required. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the shipboard employee occupying this position.

Shipboard employees will be required to perform any other job related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.

Requirement to join on cruise ship 

• Passport
• STCW certificates (BST)
• Crowd management certificate
• Crisis management certificate
• Security Awareness training for all seafarers
• Proficiency Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (PSCRB)
• Update police clearance
• International certificate of vaccination (yellow fever vaccine)
• Fluent english skills
• Previous shipboard experience is mantatory
