Electronic Engineer - Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with a Luxury Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Engineer on board.

The Role

• As Electronic Engineer you will report directly into the Chief Electrical Engineer, and enjoy the responsibility and authority that the role offers.
• Key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure all Electronic equipment (navigational, fire screen doors, cctv etc) is operated safely and in line with company and statutory regulations
• Working in partnership with the Chief Electrical Engineer
• Close collaboration with the hotel department to ensure that all electronic appliances are in good order for guests to use

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years experience as Electronic Engineer
• ETO / ETR License
• High Voltage Certificate
• Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in Electronic Engineering from a recognised institute
• A strong IT background
• Cruise Ship experience
• Global sailing experience
• Fluent English language skills
