Cruise Ship Manager

I am currently working in partnership with an expanding Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Ship Manager to be based in the United States of America.

As a Ship Manager you will head up the day to day running of a fleet of Cruise ships. Your areas of responsibility will cover the deck and technical functions, as well as some HR and finance matters. This role will encompass all management areas of the assigned vessels within the marine operations department.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overall day to day management of the vessels
• Managing dry-docks, vessel planning, and budget management
• Coordinating all aspects of the vessels
• Financial responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Existing experience in a shore based role with a Chief Engineer Unlimited Licence
• Must have the legal right to live and work in the USA
• Previous experience on Cruise Ships (desirable)
• Experience working with multi-national passengers
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast passed and growing environment with many projects running at each time
• Good knowledge of passenger ship management
• Excellent budgeting and management experience
• Fluent English language skills, additional languages would be of benefit
