Exec. Housekeeper (m/f)

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Exec. Housekeeper (m/f) for a

top-profile private yacht with a length of over 130m on wonderful itineraries throughout the world. We are searching for an extensive housekeeping, hospitality and customer care background, with excellent social behavior knowledge.

As Exec. Housekeeper you will be solely in charge of all aspects for the housekeeping department and in the overall operation of cabin service, public area cleanliness, officer, staff & crew area cleanliness. With the assistance of your Ass. Housekeeper you will plan, organize and execute assigned tasks and ensure that all company procedures and specifications are adhered to, and will be in charge and working in a team of approx. 15 crew members, including Housekeeping, Laundry and Galley.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

to ensure all Housekeeping staff is complying with the company and owner standards regarding dress and appearance of the company standards, incl. schedule duties and tasks and ensure follow-up. You will be coordinating with the Interior Manager and Captain to ensure compliance with regular Sanitation/USPH/Company Standards and procedures within the Housekeeping Department at all times and by all crew members and many things more.

In addition you will be responsible for inventory, stocking and ordering of all Housekeeping equipment, also for the organization, inspection and maintenance of the Housekeeping lockers, for all Housekeeping equipment and for the all operational related training for all team members and be able & willing to work “hands-on”, if needed and any additional duties that will come along with this position.

We are looking for a very professional candidate, with great skills and the will & power to achieve something wonderful at all times. You must have previous ship experience, ideally already on a large private yacht and be used to working within an international crew of approx. 50.

You should be well mannered and have a well-groomed appearance at all times. You should love to work & interact with the Owners closely, and on a very personal basis.  You should work with the most professional manner, while having an eye for details and special needs. You should be trustworthy, discreet and flexible to the needs and desire of your passengers - knowing that “NO” is not an option.

Fluent English is required, any additional language may be considered a plus.
