Engineering Instructor/Developer-LNG Focused
Location: Netherlands
Salary: 75,000-85,000 euros per annum (£64,500-£73,000)
Hours: 40 hrs per week

3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Engineering Instructors with LNG focus to become a role model for the Engineering Staff on board the ships of a prestigious cruise company.
What you’ll be doing:
- As Engineering Instructor/Developer with LNG focus you will be data gathering on the new LNG fuelled ships currently being built. (Dockyard visits will be required)
- You will be liaising with the simulator software developers to ensure systems, system response and operational capabilities match the ships being built.
- As Engineering Instructor/Developer with LNG focus you will be developing training courses for staff working on the new LNG fuelled ships.
- You will be delivering training to Technical Officers and other ship-board staff as required. This will include existing training courses in addition to the primary role of LNG training
- As Engineering Instructor/Developer with LNG focus you will be performing assessments of Technical Officers and other ship-board staff.
- You will be developing existing staff knowledge of LNG practices
- As Engineering Instructor/Developer with LNG focus you will be keeping up-to-date with current regulatory requirements / practices and technology.
What you’ll need:
- You will be an experienced Marine Engineer with a minimum of 10-years’ experience required including sailing with LNG fuelled ships
- You will have a management level Certificate of Competency (COC) -Class 1 preferred
- Advanced Gas Tanker Training STCW short course or equivalent qualification either current or eligible for application/renewal.
- Gas – Fire fighting course
- You will have experience of LNG tank cool down / bunkering / containment practices
- Experience with LNG fuel processing systems
- Experience with LNG duel fuel 4 stroke engines
- Cruise Ship experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Teaching/instructing experience desirable but full training will be provided
- Shipbuilding experience is desirable
