Human Recourses Generalist (50%)

Uniworld owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Human Resources Team in the Rheinfelden operations office, Switzerland we are looking for an experienced and dedicated tourism professional in the role of:

Human Resources Generalist (50%)

(starting as soon as possible or upon agreement / contract for at least 6 months with possibility to extend ti)

The HR department is responsible for all HR relevant topics from the entire recruiting cycle, HR administration, payroll, to employee relations and development.

Your main tasks will be to support the Human Resources department in their daily administrative duties.

Further tasks will be:

• General office correspondence in English and German
• AHV registration
• Sickness insurance registration & exits, control monthly invoice
• Pension insurance registration & exits, control monthly invoice
• Correspondence & confirmations
• Payroll support
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

You:

• Have an apprenticeship in administration (KV) or similar
• Have experience as a HR Generalist or in a similar position
• Have Good knowledge of employment/labor law
• Are organised and detail oriented
• Are flexible and self-motivated
• Have an ability to communicate and conduct business in English and German (must)
• Have a solid IT knowledge (MS office, Abacus system will be a plus )
• Have excellent communication and people skills
• Have a valid working permit for Switzerland

Additional HR training or experience in hospitaliy would be an advantage but is not a must
