Here at Australia’s most iconic cruise line P&O Cruises Australia, we are always on the lookout for top talent to join us on board.

The Internet Specialist is an entry level role to our on board IT department and is responsible for providing a high quality guest experience as well as managing all communication and internet access services for our passengers and crew.

Main responsibilities include proactively assisting guests with access to the internet through both the ships terminals and wireless access, selling internet services to passengers by assisting them to select the most appropriate internet services package to suit their requirements, as well as providing on board education seminars (small groups).

Successful candidates will bring experience in a direct customer facing IT support/troubleshooting role, technical knowledge of MS Windows operating systems, great relationship building and interpersonal skills, strong English communication skills, together with a sense of fun, a smile and an ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, medical cover and uniforms are provided.

Please note employees of P&O Cruises Australia are required to be at least 21 years old, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and international applicants eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). All crew members are required to successfully clear an ENG1 Medical before commencing onboard.
