Senior Sous Chef
Location: At Sea
Salary: $4977
Hours: 2 month contract (Hours are variable)

Further Details:

  • As Senior Sous Chef you will assume full responsibility for all aspects of food preparation and food areas as well as controlling the cost for these areas.
  • You will take an active part in the food preparation and ensure products are consistently prepared to the highest possible standards.
  • As Senior Sous Chef you will manage the galley staff, ensure galley equipment is properly maintained, that the highest standards of cleanliness are kept and that safe food handling is practiced at all times.
  • You will establish regular work schedules section plans and rotations for galley staff.
  • As Senior Sous Chef you will ensure Guest Complaints are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.

What you will need:

  • Culinary Institute Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Sous Chef
  • Experience in luxury food operation
  • Sound knowledge of Culinary Arts and Fine dining
  • Outstanding customer service skills, an outgoing personality, positive attitude and a friendly and approachable demeanour.
