Shore Excursion Staff for US Cruise Line - previous Ship experience preferred (ideally female candidates due to berthing!)

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is a growing American Cruise Line which offers short luxury cruises from the USA to the Bahamas. They are looking for experienced hospitality professionals that are looking to develop themselves and take their career to the next level.

We at KMCC are currently actively seeking passionate, professional and highly qualified Shore Excursion Staff for urgent and non-urgent openings. Applicants must be female and speak English and Spanish (other languages a plus)

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• The Shore Excursion Team is aware of all aspects of the Shore Excursion program with relation to the tours sold on board. The overall responsibility of the Excursion Staff is the day to day operation of the Excursion Program.
• Sell Tours to guests, generating revenue for the company
• Dispatch excursions shore side in conjunction with the local vendors.
• Communicate with the tour operators regarding counts and services required.
• Participate in excursions, as required by Shore Ex Manager, to monitor quality or to act as translator
• Conduct lectures on the various tours available to help promote sales in various languages.
• Managing the Fidelio/Cruise Manager excursion system

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ideally on a ship
• Candidate will be responsible for presentations, promotions and sales of the Shore Excursions so pleasant, polite, outgoing and professional personality required.
• A flexible and motivated team player
• Professional appearance
• Willing to commit to a 7/8 month contract at sea, working 7 days per week.

Language Requirements

• Good knowledge of the English language and ideally Spanish is required. Additional languages are a plus.
