Bar Department staff for US Cruise Line - previous Ship Experience Preferred

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is a growing American Cruise Line which offers short luxury cruises from the USA to the Bahamas. They are looking for experienced hospitality professionals that are looking to develop themselves and take their career to the next level.

We at KMCC are currently actively seeking passionate, professional and highly qualified Bar Staff (Bartenders, Barservers, sommeliers etc) for urgent and non-urgent openings.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

As part of the Food and Beverage Bar Department you provide an efficient, fast, professional and courteous service to all guests as well as demonstrating excellent salesmanship. The goal of this position is to help maintain a smooth operation of the bars on a day to day basis according to company policy.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Several years beverage related experience (shipboard experience preferred)

• Completion of High School with preferrably relevant additional education

• Ability to analyse and interpret documents such as recipes and manuals

• Abilty to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, tips, proportions and percentages.

• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.

• Great attitude, willingness to learn and good presentation

• Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple situations at the same time

• A flexible and motivated team player

• Friendly, polite and professional appearance

• Willing to commit to a 7-8 month contract at sea, working 7 days per week.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required. Additional languages are a plus.
