River Cruise Job - Night Auditor/ Night Watch

On behalf of our respectable Client (5* European River Cruise Line), we are looking for highly motivated Night Watch.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of reception area at night (including ship security)
• Execution of all administrative duties according to company standards (daily / per cruise / monthly)
• Controlling of all guest checks and upkeep of the internal bookkeeping system
• Controlling and entering of guest checks into the system
• Preparation of Night Auditor report
• Correct handling of all Reception equipment
• Providing general administrative support for the Receptionist and Purser
• Complaint management
• Conduction of stock takes; inventory according to company procedures
• Preparation of opening and closing ships at start and end of season
• Assistance in other departments upon instruction from supervisors (if required)
• Performance according to company standards and HACCP rules
• Participation in loadings
• Correct storage of stock; establishing of par levels
• Active participation in onboard training programs

YOUR PROFILE

• Graduated education in hotel / tourism industry
• 1 year professional experience in same or similar position
• International experience / on a ship
• Fluent in written and spoken English and/or German depending on the ship
• Good computer knowledge (Office, Resco and Opera hotel software), administrative experience
• Ability to work independently, service-oriented and guest focused
• Flexibility and stress resistance, team player, commitment, positive personality, neat appearance
