We are looking for knowledgeable, dynamic Chef de Partie – Specialty Restaurant candidates, who have a passion for cooking and coaching a team. As a Chef de Partie you will be a responsible for directing, supervising, and assisting in the preparation of all food of the assigned restaurant.

The Essentials:

  • Responsible for quality, quantity, attractiveness of all food items served from the restaurant
  • Implementing and executing food handling and cleaning procedures in accordance with USPH standards in the galley
  • Directs, supervises, and trains all cooks assigned to your food station
  • Executes and implements proper maintenance and cleaning procedures in the assigned restaurant
  • Maintain a strong level of productivity, and cleanliness in order to produce high quality food for passengers and crew

The Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a 5 star cruise ship, hotel or high profile restaurant
  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position; preferably in a multi-nationality setting
  • Training and work experience in Europe highly regarded
  • Proven ability to work in a high pace galley operation
  • Experience working in all major culinary sections
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety (USPH/HACCP) and VSP
  • Working knowledge of galley machinery
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
