Data Engineer (m/f)

Here are some examples of what you’ll be doing:

• Help us to become a data-driven businesses by making real-time data available and using machine learning for competitive advantage
• Research & understand the consuming behavior and extract insights from huge volumes of data
• Establish automatic ETL pipelines
• Develop & implement machine learning systems to recommend best-match products
• Build cutting-edge natural language processing systems
• State your opinions and contribute to an inclusive decision-making process
• Introduce and establish data science best practices
• Take full ownership, bring in ideas and kick off new data science products which will benefit the company

What we are looking for:

• You bring strong communication skills with fellow team members and have the drive to help remove roadblocks and solve problems with teams and individuals
• You bring working experience as e.g. Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer
• You already worked with relevant programming languages (Python, Scala, R) and their datascience packages
• You use the latest lean and agile thinking, solve mission-critical problems and challenge yourself everyday.

What would be beneficial to have:

• Experience of deep learning software packages (Tensorflow, Caffe, Keras, Torch,Theano)
• Excellent knowledge of machine learning algorithms
• Experience of NLP and its relevant packages (NLTK, spaCy)
• Experience of Hadoop ecosystem, e.g. HDFS, Spark, Hive, YARN, Impala
• Experience of building recommendation systems
• Working experience of relational/non-relational databases, e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Cassandra and so on
• Experience with AWS
