THE SEVEN SEAS GROUP IS NOW RECRUITING FOR MANAGER STAFF ADMINISTRATION TO JOIN CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

  1. Always represent the Shipboard HR Department in a professional and ethical manner.
  2. Consistently be a model of Hospitality and display the Carnival Service Values in all interactions by providing prompt, courteous and friendly services.
  3. Effectively and promptly manage and provide to all personnel administration matters.
  4. Effectively liaise with Immigration and Customs in all ports to ensure a positive crew embarkation and debarkation experience.
  5. Effectively and diligently manage the ship’s crew accommodation and manning list.
  6. Diligently manage all financial transactions in the crew office.
  7. Actively support, supervise, coach, train and develop the HR Coordinator.
  8. Actively participate in all drills, seminars and training programs as directed by HR Director, Fleet MSA and HR Services Manager.
  9. Diligently control, monitor and manage the cost efficiency of the HR department.
  10. Effectively, promptly and transparently communicate with peers, shipboard management, Fleet MSA and HR Services Manager, per the chain of command.
  11. Actively and effectively participate in, perform and sustain any other special projects/ duties as assigned by the HR Director, Fleet MSA, HR Services Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Always represent the Shipboard HR Department in a professional and ethical manner.

  1. Conduct him/her professionally, on and off duty.
    1. Consistently maintain the necessary level of confidentiality of information in daily interactions, per the confidentiality agreement.
    2. Strictly adhere to company rules and regulations, including, but not limited to the Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and Shipboard IT policy.
    3. Always be in compliance with the Carnival Look.
    4. Actively participate in, support and follow all Carnival Safety and Environmental programs and initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    5. Diligently follow the company time and attendance policy.
  2. Consistently be a model of Hospitality and the Carnival Service Values in all interactions by providing prompt, courteous and friendly services to our team members.
    1. Promptly offer assistance to team members, and follow up on related queries as required, or as directed by the HR Director.
    2. Collaborate with the Training & Development Manager to provide an effective and positive onboarding process, under the guidance of the HRD.
    3. Be knowledgeable of the company’s vision and Carnival Service Values.
    4. Build and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management onboard and serve as an example of the Carnival Service Values to all team members.
    5. Demonstrate hospitality in guest areas through “ Walk the Talk ” initiatives, as directed by the HR Director.
    6. Consistently demonstrate hospitality in all crew areas, on and off duty.
    7. Actively participate in the Daily Compass meetings.
    8. Effectively liaise and partner with the Training & Development Manager and HR Director to drive all HR and team service initiatives onboard.
    9. Actively participate in the FUNTEAM, and support the HR Director to drive FUNTEAM initiatives.
    10. Support, assist and participate in all employee recognition initiatives including the Pin Award Ceremony and the I AM program, as directed by the HR Director.
