Structural Superintendent

Through Faststream's exclusive partnership with Saga Cruises, we are in search for a highly experienced Structural Superintendent for their exciting new build project in Papenburg.

The role will have you oversee the construction of the vessel within the structural discipline. You will be the expert advisor on site for Structures, Welding, NDT and Hull Outfitting related matters. You be carrying out regular and unscheduled inspections on the owners behalf reporting back on the quality, safety and progression of the project as well as highlighting any potential risks.

It is expected that you will have extensive knowledge of Rules and Regulations related to cruise ship construction and be familiar with the design of the vessel at a detailed level. You will assist in setting up quality control and administration processes and systems and assist site management in maintaining the Site Team budget

You will be educated to degree level and have previous experience within a site team delivering new build cruise projects. The ideal candidate will be a Naval Architect, Structural Engineer or Welding Engineer. You will hold Level II certification in NDT methods (VT, RT, UT, MT, PT)
