You the Candidate
- Previous experience as a Sanitation Officer role on a Cruise liner
- Excellent experience with USPH and UKPH regulations
- Experience in dealing with Public Health Inspections
- Good knowledge of chemicals used on board
- Experience in training crew on Public Health / cleaning standards
- USC1D Visa an advantage
The Role - Sanitation Officer
The Sanitation Officer is responsible for carrying out and monitoring all shipboard hygiene and sanitation inspections in order to help achieve and maintain food and water safety on board. Their role is to help protect the public health of all passengers and crew and to minimise the risk of any food or water related illness and relevant communicable diseases. The Sanitation Officer interacts with all department heads within deck, technical and hotel on board and reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef.
They will also liaise with and report significant public health issues to the Hotel Operations Manager, Executive Chef and Senior Public Health Officer (Shoreside).
Previous Cruise ship experience is essential
