The Corporate Trainer – Alternative Dining, will identify and implement improvements to increase the effectiveness and consistency of the alternative dining projects assigned to you, from delivering and implementing standards, and having accountability in establishing superior guest service for the Seabourn dining service venues. You will provide a central source of onboard knowledge and information, by supporting our onboard alternative dining services operations, in order to achieve consistency, fleet wide. Collaborating with business partners, you will conduct standardised business and needs analysis, and synthesizing data to identify solutions aligned with organisational goals.
The role will provide training specific to the alternative dining services functions, as well as assisting in the development, monitoring, and support of the service training programs. You will be responsible to keep records of shared data (Guest surveyes, Budget reports and Cruise reports, etc.) to identify trends and plan ahead.
The Corporate Trainer, will establish service standards for the purpose of consistency and to benchmark measurements for continuous improvement, and create and suggest ideas and standards for operating procedures in alternative restaurant services. Working with the shipboard F&B Manager, you will communicate, facilitate and follow up on queries, as well as providing project and administrative support to the Operational Managers.
You will have the opportunity to review, develop and enhance the alternative dining operation policy and procedure manuals, working with the Restaurant Managers to ensure their compliance onboard, whilst providing feedback to the Operational Manager on existing performance management system tools and participates in the succession planning, task lists, job descriptions, appraisal processes, training programs, career path planning .

- Preferred College or University degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred. International equivalent suffices
- Minimum 5 years of shipboard experience within the dinner service environment
- Able to work well with both shipboard and corporate personnel
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated consulting and needs assessment skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and recommend solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to balance and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Able to write and produce operational documentation
- Extensive knowledge of Public Health and its requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), and general PC aptitude (including web navigation)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
