I am currently working with one of the worlds most luxurious Ocean Cruise companies who are looking for an experienced Ship Security Officer to join their team.
As the Ship Security officer you will be responsible for the entire ships security and will report directly to the Staff Captain. You role will include overall responsibility for the security team, as well as delivering training, maintaining vessels SSO in accordance with ISPS, assistant the staff captain in maintaining the ships key safe system, assist in crew safety training, in charge of following up on any accidents, maintain all safety equipment in accordance with AMOS & plan an execute drills amongst many other tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in this position with the luxury cruise industry
- Hold a valid ships security officers certificate
- Thorough knowledge of the ISPS code
- Fluent Written and spoken English
$60,000+ & 10 week rotation
