Senior Designer, Marella Cruise

We are on the lookout for a Senior Cruise Designer to join us at our TUI UK Head Office. Working with the Cruise Marketing Team and alongside the in-house Design Team you will bring your flare for Graphic Design to the Cruise On-Board experience.

What you will be doing

As a Senior Cruise Designer, you take a leadership role in delivering innovative and inspirational designs that give our customers an enhanced experience viewing our cruise products in shop, in print, in digital or on board our fleet of ships. As a ‘Hands on’ designer you will be comfortable working independently to deliver your designs. When delegating work is necessary you will be equally at home with providing the design direction. You will nurture great working partnerships with our Marketing and Product teams to ensure a consistent and seamless Thomson Cruise customer experience.

What we are looking for

• Provide leadership for the design and implementation of branded collateral for Marella Cruises.
• Roll out the TUI brand identity across the full Cruise customer experience across print media, interactive displays, mobile app design, architectural graphics and uniform
• Work independently to manage design output
• Assess print requirements for press output and oversee production of external print agencies
• Design interactive touchscreens and POS messages on all digital screens
• Design and create TUI brand graphic design template systems
• Provide oversight of automated systems to ensure correct design implementation
• Vector Illustration and storyboards for both print, digital and motion graphics
• Provide clear communication with senior stakeholders ensuring they understand concepts, restrictions, timescales and costs
• Provide coordination between Marketing, external printer agencies as well as others such as UK retail and airport staff
