Purser (m/f/d)

We are looking for a well experienced Purser for a 4**** European Cruise Line with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world. You should have previous ship experience as a Purser on a seagoing vessel and have extensive cash-handling experience.

Your responsibilities including (but not limited to):

• Responsible for the overall onboard accounting and administration; cash handling and cash flow, payroll (including Service Charge processing), customs and immigration compliance, vessel clearance.
• Responsible for managing personnel and operations in Crew Office, Night Audit Officer and Clerk and Print Shop
• Ensure and confirm accurate administration and processing of the Daily Revenue Report.
• Ensure that End of Voyage processing is completed accurately and submitted timely, and review and confirm that the Final figures are balanced with the corresponding Cashbook accounts. Ensure that correct processes are followed.
• Complete administration of the Shore Excursions operations to include settlement with Tour Operators, completion of accurate and timely Shore Excursion reports, ensure balancing with Fidelio bookings and Dalrec, agreement by Shore Excursion Manager and submission to the main Office.
• Maintain an adequate cash balance and cash flow, exchange of traveler checks, and foreign currency. Order, receive, and deposit monies as required. Maintain ship's checkbook and cashbook balance on a daily basis. Perform and submit all month-end and year-end reconciling as per accounting policy.
• Ensure communication channels with ship's staff and other departments to facilitate the flow of information, port requirements and regulations, crew information, administrative policies.

We are looking for a pleasant and outgoing personality with a well-groomed appearance. Fluent English is required any additional language would be a plus and you must have very good computer and administration skills.
