Service Engineer (m/f)
Your chartered course:
- Project management and monitoring of the Riding team on board
- Work in close contact with the Chief Engineer onboard, the relevant Superintendents ashore and all warranty contractors
- Planning and implementation of the entire technical operation
- Coordination of resolving of claims onboard / with ashore companies in addition to clarifying any open remarks onboard
Job Requirements
Your previous ports of call:
- Masters degree or Politechnical degree as ship operation engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Several years of professional and management experience in engine maintenance as well as medium speed diesel engines
- Seafarer’s book and a national Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer)
- Fluent English language and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Leadership skills, Entrepreneurial thinking and action, high degree of result orientation and strong ability to communicate
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
