Location: Europe (on board of a luxury river cruise ships / travelling)

As a Corporate Executive Chef you will report directly to the Director Culinary Operations & Development. You will assists the Director Culinary Operations and closely cooperate with Corporate Chefs and Senior Executive Chefs; You will actively participate in on-board production to ensure excellent food operations on highest quality service levels.

You will

• Take care of development of crew on board: coach, train and support
• Relief Executive Chefs other positions (if needed)
• Supervise, support, train the culinary teams on board
• Monitor industry trends and recommend appropriate changes in menus and preparation techniques
• Encourage a general awareness of health and safety in tasks and activities within the galley departments of the entire fleet
• Be involved in the menu engineering
• Visit the most spectacular destinations in Europe

You

• Want to become part of The Best!
• Have minimum 5 years of experience as Executive Chef or in Executive Senior Management positions at 4* or 5* operations (incl. hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering).
• Preferable have experience in cruise industry (it is not a must)
• Good administrative skills (incl. Marine Xchange Program, Microsoft Office, Outlook)
• Can communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
• Have proven ability to interact effectively with international team and employees on all levels
• Have excellent understanding of cost efficiency, controlling waste management, company structured cost & profit thinking 
• Are creative, structure driven, able to plan, have an eye for details
• Have excellent knowledge in various styles of cuisines, incl.: classics, modern trends, local, regional & international.
• Are willing to travel extensively
• Are a citizen of the EU or Switzerland
