As a Junior Business Manager Digital Unit you are going to collaborate closely with all colleagues within the entire Digital Unit: the product owners, the development team as well as with our designers and analysts – you are to be the glue of our Unit.

Besides our focus on the customer and our product development, however, we need to ensure the best support in our analytical and financial management processes.

Junior Business Manager Digital Unit (m/f)

Here are some examples of what you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and provide Digital Unit status reports and other presentations in alignment with the Head of Digital Unit and product owners towards the executive management of Costa Group
  • Support the financial tracking and reporting of the Digital Unit in alignment with the finance department (Budgets, G&A, CAPEX and OPEX tracking)
  • Reporting and aligning with the Digital Unit Management Team on product and project progress in terms of action, cost & time tracking
  • Support the analysis of current product performance and identify mitigation actions in case of deviations together with the product owner
  • Supervise the resource allocation for new and existing products based on workload and new products, e.g. internal staff, external support, make or buy decisions
  • Support in special projects within the Digital Unit and together with other group departments if required

What we are looking for:

  • You bring strong communication skills with fellow team members and have the drive to help remove roadblocks
  • You have a strong analytic skillset and with good exposure in performance
  • You are working with a data driven approach on decision making and problem solving
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit with strong negotiation skills
  • You are an expert in using Excel and PowerPoint
  • You can work independently with minimum supervision

  • Organizational talent of getting priorities right and not to forget commitments you made
  • Responsible and proactive attitude towards getting things done
  • A talent to build fantastic (management-oriented) presentations based on Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Understanding of project management requirements in product developments
  • Basic knowledge of financials in terms of budget controlling, action tracking and planning
  • Fluent skill in English and German since we cannot do without
