As an Assistant Cruise Director DJ you will be responsible for presenting entertaining, engaging, and memorable activities and recorded music that delights and serves our passengers throughout their cruise.

Job respomsinilities include

• Regularly performs and provides music as Cruise staff DJ at various onboard locations to enhance passengers’ onboard experience.
• Ensures the prompt and correct setup, presentation, ambiance, and operation of venues.
• Consistently supports and cross-promotes all revenue departments.
• Provides a positive first impression to every passenger through a warm, welcoming individual greeting; always maintains a spotless and professional appearance.
• Observes passengers to identify their preferences and adjusts service accordingly, anticipating passengers’ needs and offering appropriate responses without the customer having to ask.
• Demonstrates to every passenger that his or her satisfaction is our top priority by immediately acknowledging every request, responding promptly and effectively to resolve any service request or concern, and escalating to Supervisor as appropriate.
• Spends an appropriate amount of time each day in the company of passengers, developing rapport and engaging in conversations as The Consummate Host.
• Nurtures a memorable connection with passengers by remaining fully engaged through completion of service.
• Always provides a genuine, warm closing at the conclusion of an event or activity by graciously thanking passengers as they leave.
• Enthusiastically hosts selected entertainment and other revenue/non-revenue events, including but not limited to trivia events, sports and deck games, manning the ship’s library, ScholarShip@Sea programs, and other events, always in accordance with Entertainment policies and procedures.
• Always ensures efficient setup, presentation, and operation of ongoing programs, including adherence to all safety and ethical protocols in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Always maintains an engaging presence both on and off stage and entertains passengers in a likeable, professional manner.
• Promptly and willingly performs any and all duties assigned by the Deputy Cruise Director, Cruise Director, and/or other senior management.
• Performs gangway embarkation and disembarkation duties promptly and properly, to delight and serve every passenger.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in some field of entertainment performance AND previous Disk Jockey experience
• Must have excellent command of the English language
• Sound level of education preferred.
• Outgoing personality and impeccable appearance required
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to interact effectively with guests, management, peers, and subordinates.
