Assistant Technical Superintendent - Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with a leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Superintendent to work in the companies Head Office.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Marine Engineer/ Naval Architect / Ex Coastguard professional to take the next step in their career.

As Assistant Technical Superintendent you will enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of various projects, managing invoices, and providing a range of technical assistance to the Senior Management team. You will ensure that vessels are managed in line with company procedures, as well as in line with external regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Seagoing experience as 2nd Engineer (or higher)
  OR Marine Engineering Degree / Naval Architecture Degree
  OR experience working for the US Coastguard as a Lieutenant (or higher)
• Strong organization, delegation and interpersonal skills
• Cruise ship experience would be an advantage
• Fluent English language skills
