Safety Superintendent - Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with a leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Superintendent to work in the companies Head Office.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Cruise Safety Officer / Staff Captain to take the next step in their career.

As Safety Superintendent you will enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for developing safety policies and programs for the fleet, conducting internal inspections and investigations, providing and develop training, and working on incident investigations. You will ensure that vessels are managed in line with company procedures, as well as in line with external regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience sailing as Safety Officer (or higher) on Cruise Ships
• Chief Mates Unlimited / Master Unlimited Qualification
• 5 years, or more, Cruise seagoing experience
• Experience providing training
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Fluent English language skills
