Pricing & Revenue Management Analyst - Sales & Marketing Costa Crociere is seeking a talented and energetic Revenue Analyst to join the Pricing & Revenue Management department, our worldwide pricing centre within Sales & Marketing department whose objective is to maximize Company's revenues by leveraging on cruise ticket pricing and ships occupancy, thus delivering the profitability needed to sustain a significant ROIC for our stockholders. Costa's Revenue Management Mission is to be the best-in-class in the Tourism industry when it comes to:

  • forecasting the demand and optimizing our prices on the basis of a deep understanding of the price elasticity and the support of our advanced scientific tools
  • innovating our pricing model to reach the highest point that consumers are willing to pay and to further improve our reliability in the market place
  • selecting and developing analytical talents leading them to a successful career in Costa In this scenario, we are looking for a candidate to join the team and bring in fresh competencies, passion and his/her "personal brand".

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

For his/her assigned ships, performing big data analysis to:

  • Define and implement pricing positioning for Costa’s product across world-wide markets and available sales channels
  • Manage the demand trends through price steering and promotion on each customer segments
  • Define allocation of cabins and seats capacity across different itineraries and products
  • Contribute to the successful implementation and use of our own automatic pricing optimization tools
  • Contribute to the financial revenue forecast process Interact on a daily basis with Costa’s sales offices world-wide  

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Engineering Management, Mathematics/Statistics (or other studies with significant numerical background) with minimum marks of 105
  • Data driven approach to decision making and problem solving combined with sense of business and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong enterpreunerial attitude
  • Optimistic and enthusiastic approach with high resilience to challenges and pressure High proficiency in Excel and Power Point
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level is required)
