Engine/Deck Storekeeper for 100-m Shadow Vessel (STKM)

We are seeking an experienced Engine Room Storekeeper for this world-travelling Shadow Vessel who has prior experience in a similar position onboard Cruise/Passenger ships and/or large 80m+ Superyachts.
You will be in control of inventory and ordering of spare parts for both the Engine and Deck departments and will work directly with the Chief Engineer on board.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Preference given to holders of EOOW CoC
• International Passport
• Seafarer discharge book
• Seafarer medical ( valid min 6 months)
• STCW Basic safety training
• Security awareness or designated security certificate
• STCW Engine room rating watch keeping Certificate

Responsibilities outlined below:

• Keep Chief Engineer fully updated of spare parts and consumables status.
• Control and order spare parts and consumables for Engine and Deck Department after Chief Engineer’s order.
• Follow up receiving / delivery of spare parts.
• Control and prepare of “Landing Goods Advice” in accordance to Chief Engineer’s order.
• Control, registration and updating data on regular bases in AMOS “Stock Control” program.
• Full inventory once every 12-month, with correspondent update of AMOS. – different areas are scheduled on monthly basis.
• Use bar code equipment (when and if implemented) for bar code registration and update.
• Control of and keep stores well organized and spare parts correctly and safely stored.
• Control of and keep stores and adjacent compartments clean and tidy.
• Co-operate with Officers and Crew.
• The Engine Storekeeper should familiarize himself with Company instructions and procedures relevant to his position.
• Responsible for entering and updating information on spare parts transactions and purchasing routine in Amos Planned Maintenance System.
• Must be familiar with the ship’s “Emergency Plan”, the “Muster List” and the “MMV”.
• This is an outline of position duties. Engine Storekeeper may be called upon to perform other ad-hoc duties when required.

Salary: Euro 2700-3000 depending on experience with 122 days leave per year (4:2 rotation) 2 x economy flights to homeport per year.
