A luxury cruise line are seeking a Provision Master to join their fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all goods are handled in a FIFO (first in – first out) manner to avoid spoilage, ensuring that distribution of items is according to internal requisitions and sorted by departments, and investigating any unusual shortages either in bar or food operations and learning why these shortages occur and recommending corrective action.

Other responsibilities will include analysing food, beverage and general supply items cost reports and consumption, ensuring all F&B storage areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner in accordance with public health standards, and controlling and verifying all new merchandise, received at ship’s side.

The ideal candidate will have previous ship experience in this role and will have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products.

Valid STCW Certification and Seafarer's Medical will be required for this role.
