Tailor / Linenkeeper - Luxury Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with an expanding Cruise company, and have a number of exciting opportunities for Tailors / Linen Keepers on board.

The Role

As a Tailor / Linen Keeper you will be responsible for repairing crew uniforms, guest cloths and all Hotel Department linen. You will be in charge of checking quantities of threads, buttons, needles etc. and making alterations to any company issue uniforms as required. You will be involved in repairs on soft furnishings to extend the life of such items where possible and minor repairs of curtains and drapes. You will assist with all linen inventories and the issuing and checking of steward supplies.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Excellent written and spoken English
-Thorough knowledge of storeroom operation and storing procedures
-Good knowledge of cruise ship operation.
-Familiar with all departments and their functions within Hotel / Linen operations.
-Expert in tailoring operations.
-$1108 per month worked
-7:2 rotation (Month)
